At Coplex, you can create an account with a traditional email, a social login, or your team's SSO provider. Everything lives in the same infinite canvas once you're in.
Email or Google
The fastest way to get a personal workspace up and running.
- Enter your details: On the welcome screen, type your email address or continue with Google.
- Verification: You'll receive a 6-digit code by email. Enter it to confirm your identity.
- Workspace creation: Coplex automatically provisions a fresh personal workspace and your first blank canvas. You don't need to do anything else.
Make sure to check your spam folder if you don't receive the email code within a minute.
SSO (Teams)
Ideal for organizations that want centralized access and shared workspaces.
- Select method: Choose your provider: Google Workspace, Okta, or Microsoft Entra.
- Approve connection: Your identity provider opens. Confirm the connection request.
- Join your team: You're dropped straight into your organization's shared canvas with the right permissions applied.
Why use SSO? Members are added and removed centrally, so access to your canvases always matches your directory, with no orphaned seats.
Setting up your profile
Once your account is created, give it a personal touch so teammates can recognize you on a shared canvas.
- Set a handle: Choose a unique username (e.g. @ada). It appears next to your live cursor.
- Profile picture: Upload a photo or pick a generated avatar.
- Theme: Pick a Coplex theme, and the canvas, terminal palette, and editor all recolor together.
